Mimio Interactive Learning is here! (Mimio Interactive operates similarly to SmartBoard Technology). Each classroom has been outfitted and teachers have been trained (ongoing) to make learning exciting, interactive, and fun at OLA School! We can take pride in the advancements OLA School continues to make integrating technology into our already top-notch curriculum. The Mimio Interactive technology joins two fully loaded mobile laptop carts, a computer room where all students receive teacher directed computer instruction each week, a fully functional web site which includes up to date classroom pages - many now with classroom wikis - an on-line grading system where students can track their progress daily (grades 4-8), e-mail communication between home and school, and wireless internet access throughout our buildings.

With the inclusion of the Scott Foresman Reading Street reading series into grades k-5, we have now completed updating our reading curriculum. A new updating cycle begins and we will be looking at our English and math curriculums this year. As part of our updates, you will notice that we have purchased the most current copyright of Loyola Press - Voyages in English textbooks.
