Happy June!  It is amazing how quickly the school year has gone by. The children are excited to see their books getting thinner and thinking of their summer plans.

 

 

 

 

 I have enjoyed working with your children. It has been a joy to see them grow academically, socially, and spiritually.  Everyday they made me smile with their stories and enthusiasm for learning. They have worked very hard and I feel they are ready for third grade.  I know you are as proud of them as I am.  

 

This summer continue their success by having your child read.  .  Studies have shown that children retain more of what they have learned by reading during the summer.  Reading orally will improve their fluency, speed, and decoding skills.  Practice their math skills with addition and subtraction flash cards.

A third grade summer reading and supply list will go home the last week of school.  Enjoy the summer!
