The OLA Meat Raffle is BACK – October 22nd!

Come join us Saturday, October 22nd starting at 4pm for the 8th Annual OLA Meat Raffle! The Annual Meat Raffle will be held at Breen’s Café, 16 Cambridge Street in Worcester. All proceeds from the raffles will be used by the PTO to fund the many student and staff activities at the school! It is also a fun way for the adults to socialize and raise money at the same time.

We are now actively seeking 6 table sponsors for this event. Each of the 6 tables will be worth $200.00, with 8-10 items each. Individual and/or group sponsors are welcome! Each sponsored table will be recognized during the event.

Please contact Sharon Shivick (shivicks@gmail.com or cell 508-654-2445) or Melissa Chase (774-272-1336) for more information on sponsoring a table.

Additionally, we are asking each class to help with creating the popular themed baskets raffled off at the event:

Santa’s Secret Shop – December 5th, 6th & 7th:

Have you done your “fall” cleaning yet? Have you found items with tags still on them that have been taking up room in your closets?

Santa’s Workshop is quickly approaching for our kids to shop for their family members for the holidays. Any donations are welcome and we appreciate your support! If you are unsure if it’s something we could use, please don’t hesitate to reach out to shawna_147369@yahoo.com.

We are looking crafters! Little handmade gifts are a great addition to the workshop. In the past, we’ve had little Hershey Kiss Trees, Tie Blankets, Hats, Ornaments, Jewelry, Decorative Light Up Bottles and little signs to name a few. Do you have a circuit and like creating things? Perhaps you would be interested in making a few things that we could sell at Santa’s Workshop?

Not creative? We are also happy to accept anything new that you would want to give or receive as a gift. While you’re Christmas shopping, maybe you come across a special deal to buy two but you only need one… Think about sending the other item in for our Santa’s Workshop!

Some of the items that go quickly are: Toys or other little novelty gifts; hand tools; flash lights; books; baby things; jewelry; hats; gloves (homemade are always welcome); slippers; headphones; board games & travel games; dolls; Matchbox cars; little sport things; candles; fuzzy socks; dog treats/toys; cat treats/toys; holiday things; blankets; house things; little baking sets. We are happy to accept anything that you would want to give as a gift or to receive as a gift. All items must be new.

Meanwhile, Save the Date!! We’ll be looking for wrapping volunteers – December 5, 6 & 7.
